Admin Roles

The first admin of the tenant is assigned with the Global Admin role, and can view and edit all BindID settings. Additionally, Global Admin users can invite other admins to access the BindID Admin Portal. The following roles can be assigned to new admins:

  • Global Admin: can view and edit all BindID settings
  • Global Reader: can view most BindID settings but cannot make changes or add new applications
  • Application Admin: can view and edit specific applications

To invite a new admin by email:

  1. From Settings > Admins tab, click Invite admin.
  2. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  3. Select the required admin role. If you select the Application Admin role, also select which applications the admin can access and configure.

Note: You cannot change the role of existing admins. If you need to change an admin's role, delete the admin and then send a new admin invitation with the required role.
